Here at PIANCA we care about the environment and do everything possible to reduce our impact on our beautiful planet. Our products are primarily made from PET/RPET material that is widely recognized and accepted by numerous municipalities with curbside recycling initiatives. We are dedicated to reducing the environmental impact of packaging through strategic “right-sizing” and lightweight designs.
Additionally, we are committed to incorporating an average of 15% Post Consumer Recycled (PCR) content across all our PET products, alongside incorporating Post Industrial Recycled (PIR) materials. This approach not only enhances sustainability but also promotes a more circular economy by maximizing the reuse of plastic. We also have the flexibility to customize PCR content for specific projects for our customers.
Using Post Consumer Recycled (PCR) plastic offers many environmental benefits, making it an essential component of sustainable practices. By repurposing plastic that has already been used and discarded, PCR significantly reduces the demand for virgin plastic production, which in turn diminishes the consumption of fossil fuels and lowers greenhouse gas emissions. Additionally, utilizing PCR plastic helps divert waste from landfills, promoting a circular economy where materials are continuously reused rather than disposed of.
